2017 Year to Rethink Pink

Previously, pink was the color of exclusive gender but now the ideas about the color has changed and now it represents optimistic feelings like that of multiethnic Barbie dolls and pussy hat projects. Many among us used pink colored bubble gum in our childhood and we still love the same color and it is evident from our rose colored glasses.

During the Spring 2017 runways, pink was seen everywhere. Pink with different shades was showcased in the famous collections of Gucci, Molly Goddard, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Sies Marjan, Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Givenchy, Celine, Emilio Pucci and several others. Mostly, we can see pink color in frill, drape, tulle-heavy frocks, sequin or satin but it is presented on more occasions also as it was seen in a velvet carnation button-down in coordination of silky culottes. Pink power suiting was developed by Haider Ackermann, Erin Fetherston, Bottega Veneta, Creatures of Comfort and Paul Smith. Blush and leisure looks were presented by Fenty x puma, Lacoste and Dolce & Gabbana. All these offering give the message to wear lot of pink color in your dressing.

The pink trend also dominated during Fall 2017 where the runways were seen with colorblock dresses. Pink color was seen at Valentino by Pierpaolo Piccioli, Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim in their collections.

It is important to note that pink color is trending on the fashion ground. Different mixed match materials or hot pink with denim are presented by our favorite brands.

Currently, very shiny pink dresses are also considered as neutrals which mean you can easily adopt them in your dresses. You can start the fun by choosing among the 25 pink pieces given below.
