For more advanced hair tutorials, a step-by-step blowdry guide will form the basis.

What you will need to complete the look:

Tail comb

Hairdryer with nozzle attachment

Argan oil serum

Leave-in conditioner

Sectioning clips

Paddle brush

Medium ceramic and round barreled brush

Step 1 (The correct shampooing procedure)

With a clean mane, a bouncy blowdry begins. By shampooing twice, ensure your hair is squeaky clean. Focus on the scalp and roots, down the rest of the hair the shampoo will work its way and automatically clean it. To maintain the hairs’ natural oils and shine, use a high-quality, sulfate free shampoo. Condition it, after rinsing out the shampoo. Make sure to avoid the scalp as this can add extra weight to the hair and give an oily, nasty effect, so distribute the product between the ends and mid-sections.

Step 2 (Product preparation)

You r hair is clean and ready-to-go, at this point. Take small amount of leave-in conditioner and gently rub into the ends, while working with wet hair. This protects the hair from heat, brushing and loosening up any stray tangles. Now detangle with paddle brush, which will prevent damage and breakage when start blowdry.

Tip: It is important to work with a high-quality dryer and brush. To achieve tension when it is pulled through the hair, frizzy and curly haired girls will require a round brush with strong bristles. Smaller diameter barrels will create a curlier look whereas brushes with a larger diameter will achieve a straighter effect. You should work with a paddle brush if looking for a super-straight effect.

Step 3 (Taming the texture)

It is important to begin with the bangs, which is the most important resistant part of the hair. Starting with this unruly section leaves your bangs looking polished and smooth and gives you greater control. At this point, make sure the roots are still wet as this will help to lay flat the bangs.

Using a tail comb, first I section-off of your hair and the rest, clip out of the way. Then ensure the airflow is facing downward and stretch my bangs from left to right by using the nozzle on the end of the hairdryer. For control over where the part falls, it will ensure. The nozzle working downward from the roots should follow the direction of the brush.

Step 4 (Rough dry & protect)

Now it’s time to move on to the rest of your mane as your bangs have been tamed. To remove some of the excess moisture, let your hair completely down and use the dryer. To prevent the hair from becoming patchy, it’s important to keep the dryer moving. Then to smooth and protect, apply a small amount of Argan Oil Serum to the ends and middle of your hair. Apply the serum after rough drying for better results as at that stage, the product is easily absorbed due to opening of the cuticle.

Step 5 (Section and dry – back)

Next starting with the under layer at the back and section your hair begin to dry. To create tension, use your round brush and to smooth the hair, concentrate the airflow down the cuticle. As the roots are the key to a long-lasting style, so only move to a new section once know that the roots are completely dry. You can work with a voluminizing product if you’re in need of a volume boost and at the roots, hold the round brush for a few moments, with the hair wrapped around whilst the hair cools. Use the cool shot button on the dryer to really set the style. For convenience, working way up from the nape of the neck to the crown and group the sections together as they dry.

Step 6 (Section and dry – front)

On the sides, now it’s ready to start work. On the left and right sides, create sections and as used at the back, repeat the drying process. It’s important to maintain an even amount of tension and distribute the hair evenly across the brush.
