The ICEHOTEL of Northern Sweden was the first hotel, which was made of snow and ice and it was established in 1989 with snow and ice.

This hotel was built 27 years before and it is rebuilt during each winter. The ICEHOTEL 365 will be the first frozen accommodation located in Northern Sweden and it will be open the year round. The provision of new solar powered cooling technology in this hotel is for the art gallery, bar and 10 luxury suites to the guest, who stay in this hotel to enjoy with the mid night sun and the northern lights.

This ICEHOTEL is located 200 kilometers in the north of Arctic Circle in Jukkakasjarvi and this hotel has been constructed to fresh blueprint each year with the use of 5000 tons of ice, which is taken from the River Torne in cold-stored and spring season over the summer season.

The different parts of the hotel are continued to melt and they are also built consistently and there will be fresh new icy artworks for the guests to enjoy from it each year.

The ICEHOTEL of Northern Sweden was constructed in 1989 and it has been rebuilt each year and remained open the year round and Luca Roncoroni designed the Victorian Apartment.

ICEHOTEL 365 – the provision of new solar powered cooling technology will allow the part of the hotel like art gallery, bar and 10 luxury suites, which is provided to the guest during the summer season.

Chandelier – The Ice hotel is added with the fittings and fixtures, which people can expect in the luxury hotel and they are made out of frozen H₂O.

Snice – the building material, which is used for hotel, is called Snice and it is the mixture of snow and ice. During the construction of the hotel, total 700 million snow balls are used and Mathieu Brison and Luc Voisin have designed this pictured suite.

There are about 580 artists, who have created the work for hotel since its establishment in 1989 and the art suite is featured with ‘Dancers in the Dark’ and Patrick Dallard and Tjasa Gusfors have designed it.

The temperature of the environment might be -5 °C and with the provision of high quality sleeping bags and thick capes and the luxury fur can keep the guest cozy and comfortable. The room is titled with ‘Do not Get Lost’ and Tommy Alatalo designed these rooms.

Kiss – This is the deluxe suite, which is featured with the artwork ‘Kiss’ and Vytautas Musteikis and Kestutis have designed this deluxe suite.

Spa – there are few things, which are made up of ice and the spa and sauna are provided to relax in away from elements.

Ice Art Hall – The entrance of the Ice Art Hall and ICEHOTEL 365 is built on such place, which was reserved for the refrigeration plant.

Aurora Borealis – The hotel management ensures that guests do not miss the Northern Lights, so they provide the special auroral alarm there.

Cold Ice, Warm Hearts – The hotel has developed its chapel to host about 100 weddings each year. It is also provided with lot of happy snow queens.

Icebar – There are about 27,000 cocktails, which are consumed each season in this icebar and now it has established its branches across the world.

The Great Outdoors – There are different winter activities, which are offered and dog sledding is also included in it. During the summer season, people like to go for hiking under midnight sun.
